The FSC has now published an FAQ on Solvency II topics on their website. The FAQ covers a wide range of topics such as applying for Undertaking Specific Parameters, treatment of PCCs, treatment of captives and a range of topics both specific and non-specific to Gibraltar.
This FAQ covers ground which has been the subject of queries to the FSC, and addresses issues that would have been raised in the GIA Q&A session that was postponed late last year.
If there is sufficient demand, that session will be resurrected in 2015, but in the meantime the FAQ represents a useful source of information that demonstrates the FSC’s current thinking on a series of topics.
