Gibraltar Day in London

Book your places for the Gib Day Lunch!

We have been asked to circulate the following message from Gibraltar Finance:

Financial Services Lunch – Gibraltar Day in London 2014

We are pleased to confirm that the Financial Services Lunch on Gibraltar Day in London will take place on Monday 20th October 2014.

The lunch will be held, as last year, at the Old Library – which is situated within the Guildhall, Gresham Street, London EC2V 7HH – 12.30 – 2.30pm.

The lunch is being hosted by HM Government of Gibraltar.  The Chief Minister and the Minister for Financial Services will be addressing the audience.

As you will know we require this opportunity to be used by attendees to maximise the development of new business. Consequently firms or individuals based in Gibraltar (wishing to attend) should ensure that there is an appropriate balance between attendees and their guests.  This has always been the case but on this occasion it is being re-emphasised.  As an example, a firm requesting to reserve ten places would be expected to fill at least seven of those places with “new business opportunity” guests from outside Gibraltar hosted by a maximum of three individuals from the particular firm.  The emphasis is also on ensuring that guests are of an appropriately high level of seniority.

We shall make every effort to accommodate your request for reservations but the maximum capacity for the lunch is some 330 people and space is therefore limited.  We anticipate that demand will outstrip supply and we would therefore urge you to contact us as soon as possible.

Expressions of interest, indicating the number of places required (including the number of guests you anticipate will attend) should be sent to us via email to CC:

Any firms wishing to attend the GIBRALTAR DAY EVENING FUNCTION should contact the Gibraltar London Office at by no later than Friday 12TH September 2014. Invitations to the Financial Services Lunch do not extend to the evening function.

For the avoidance of doubt the sending of a request to attend this event is not, in itself, confirmation that such a request can be accommodated.  You will need to ensure that you receive formal confirmation and an invitation in respect of each place reserved.
